The global Sukuk market has witnessed remarkable growth in Sukuk issuance from 2015 to the end of 2019, but we started 2020 with the corona-virus pandemic, which had a major impact on the market. Issuance were diversifi ed among corporate and financial institutions Sukuk as well as sovereign and quasi-sovereign Sukuk. In this article, Author seeks to find an answer to the following questions: (1) What are the reasons for this growth in the global Sukuk market during that time period? (2) Who are benefiting the most from this growth? (3) Did corporate and financial institutions take advantage of this growth, what are the causes for that and what are the future expectations?
